Duties
You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Managerial Accounting Office (MAO).
You will develop Standard Operating Procedures for assigned functions and contributes to the development of comprehensive training programs.
You will utilize the Budget Execution Manual (BUDEX) to ensure accurate financial data and codes are utilized.
You will assist with the implementation of and development of guidelines for financial management related processes.
You will monitor correct, and provide technical guidance on the Defense Agency Initiative (DAI) system, and the Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS).
Requirements

- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level GS-07 or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing accounting and budgeting systems; preparing accounting reports; assist with providing training; and maintaining records and reports.

Education
Applicants may also qualify based on education OR a combination of education and experience, in lieu of the one year of specialized experience listed above, through ONE of the following:
Successful completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree.
OR
Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's degree.

OR
Possess a combination of specialized experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal 100 percent.
