You will serve as a ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the APPLIED TECHNOLOGY MANUFACTURING DIVISION, WEAPONS AND ENGERGETICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will rework and repair electronic assemblies/systems.
You will assemble and tests sub-assemblies for integration into flight hardware systems.
You will design and develop improvements for subsystems, systems, facilities, and/or equipment.
You will provide guidance/training to others directly through highly specialized technical areas.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DT-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Designing and developing improvements for subsystems, systems, facilities, and/or equipment; 2) Planning, setting up schedules, budgets, and conducting phases of technical work; 3) Fabricating, assembling and testing sub-assemblies for integration into flight hardware systems; 4) Designing special/unique wiring harnesses, test fixtures and cables.
