Duties
Primary duties of this position are:
Assists higher-graded specialists in accomplishing land management activities in processing acquisitions, disposals, and exchanges of withdrawn or acquired Federal land under the jurisdiction of the Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Basin.
Maintains Lands case files, land status plat books and computer records for accountability and reference, including posting land acquisition and disposal transactions in the Financial and Business Management System (FBMS) program.
Conducts field surveys to ensure Federally owned land is being utilized in compliance with land use documents issued and to determine occurrence of unauthorized use, occupancy or trespass on Reclamation administered lands.
Qualifications
GS-07: In order to qualify at the GS-07 grade level, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent in complexity and difficulty to at least the GS-06 level in Federal service.
Specialized Experience at GS-07: Experience receiving, processing, and routing land use contracts and related documents including inputting relevant data into an established system. The work must demonstrate experience researching records to extract and compile required reports to accomplish realty and/or land management assignments, and experience in establishing and monitoring reimbursable cost accounts.

Time-In-Grade: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower-grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).
You must meet all Eligibility and Qualification requirements, including time-in-grade restrictions and any selective placement factors if applicable, by 02/22/2024.
