Duties

Provide technical guidance to subordinates for the supply management operations and support program to stay in compliance. Analyze date from the Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIP) to present resolutions to higher level management for approval. Manage internal controls to ensure that fraud, waste, and abuse is reduced or eliminated. Recommend solutions to subordinates on any issues that may arise to prevent conflicts. Review programs to make necessary changes to remain in compliance. Develop processes to implement within the organization to meet program requirements. Ensure periodic spot checks inspections are conducted to remain in compliance.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to Depot Production Computer System.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
• This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
• This position requires a successfully completion of the Civilian Education System Course and the Supervisory Development Course within 12 months in the position.
