You will serve as a Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff, G-1 in the MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
Duties
You will consolidate and review data to ensure accomplishment of objectives, timeliness, and acceptability.
You will provide advice and guidance for improvements and anticipate areas of concern.
You will provide technical, management guidance and advice on the most appropriate method or procedures of analysis.
You will serve as Management Analyst implementing Manpower Management Programs: management and manpower analysis; productivity enhancements; organizational advice and assistance.
You will prepare reports, memos, and other written documents to communicate organizational data for use in making decisions.
You will carry out special projects and participates in special initiatives and studies.
You will prepare written correspondence and other documentation.
You will work to achieve and support quality improvement in all products and services.
You will provides manpower management and civilian personnel advice, assistance and recommendations to leadership.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You may be recalled to duty outside of normal work hours.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing information to managers on the administrative and programmatic aspects of organizational operations and management by performing studies concerned with program effectiveness, organizational efficiency, and workforce measurements.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if related
