You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAMS ANALYST in the TRAINING COMMAND (TRNGCMD) of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as the Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) at the organization level.
You will manage, coordinate, and provide DTS and travel policy guidance and advice, training, and assistance to travelers and Approving Officials within the organization.
You will serve as the TRNGCMD ODTA, overseeing ODTAs at the MSEs while providing sustainment of the Defense Travel System (DTS) for TRNGCMD.
You will monitor permission levels to ensure user access has appropriate separation of duties and assignment of permissions.
You will provide assistance and policy guidance from Joint Travel Regulations, Department of Defense Federal Management Regulations, and Federal Travel Regulations to field questions concerning the preparation of travel documents.
You will periodically ensure the DTS program is within compliance with directives and inspection checklists for inspections.

Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating methods and techniques for assessing program development or execution and improving organizational effectiveness and efficiency and knowledge of DTS basic functionality and ability to train others in its operation.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
