You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (PASSENGER) in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT, PASSENGER SERVICE DIVISION of NAVAL AIR TERMINAL.

Duties

You will maintain public flight information system and baggage handling. You will provide information/assistance to travelers, processing passengers for loading/unloading on military/contract flights, and assisting with cash collections. You will maintain complete records pertaining to passengers, processes baggage claims and coordinates passenger movement to meet operational commitments. You will verify travel documents (e.g. flight reservations itineraries, and travel orders) for accuracy.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Operating public address system, automated telephone answering system; 2) Operating Credit Card Machines; 3) Utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point in the performance of duties; 4) Interpreting flight schedules, Government Tariff Rates and messages; 5) Quoting AMC fares and ticket rates to passengers and activities; 6) Processing passengers through U.S. Customs and Immigrations Inspections as required; 7) Inspecting travel documents for required identification and ensures compliance with Regulations and Directives; 8) Inspecting and operating vans, small and large bus.
