Salary: $86 962 - 131 452 per year

You will serve as a Assistant Recruitment Coordinator of NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

Duties

You will be responsible for providing a strong pool of qualified applicants You will serve as coordinator and liaison between the programs and high-level managers You will publish internal guidance and materials to establish operating administrative procedures and criteria within the program

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the excepted service which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in the recruitment process for screening and selection of participants,; 2) Aiding in the planning, development, implementation, and coordination of a highly sensitive recruitment process; 3) Helping to develop program strategies based on analysis of issues, current requirements, and long range projections; 4) Developing the framework of administrative policies, plans, and procedures related to administrative support services; 5) Assisting in the establishment of procedures used to track new projects, create and sustain sophisticated administrative mechanisms.
