About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) in Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Duties

Establish policies for the collection and sharing of timely, comprehensive and trusted data used in the Data Warehouse. Research government and industry technical solutions to perform alternatives analysis to support capability requirements. Develop policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning of the Data warehouse and Business Intelligence issues for the commands. Prepares information papers, executive summaries, briefings, and conducts or attends meetings and conferences.

  • Business Travel up to 20%.

  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance.

Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience in experience in 1) assist with the management and sustainment of a logical Information Architectures compliant with the Knowledge Management Maturity Model Framework and Share-Point Maturity Model; 2) identify roles and responsibilities to support a Knowledge Management environment; 3) assist with the building of knowledge management teams; 4) Manage the Information and Knowledge management (IM and KM) support for the organization; 5) communicate both orally and in writing to conduct briefings and prepare reports to provide to senior management personnel. and Experience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate GS-5 through GS-15 (or equivalent): For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.
