This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-04 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-14 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-15 grade step 10 in the broadband.
Duties
Serve as a Supervisory with responsibility for providing acquisition life-cycle support, and continuous performance improvement for an assigned portfolio of programs.
Provide advisory in areas such as formulating and presenting cost, schedule and technical requirements, as well as in the management of funds to prevent deficiencies and assure sufficient funds are available to execute programs.
Manage programs that involve a wide range of in-depth systematic analysis of varied developmental and production problems.
Perform the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.
Requirements

- This position requires the incumbent to possess 4 years of Acquisition experience.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position requires a SECRET clearance.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties:1) Leading a team to administer financial management functions of an acquisition program to include Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution; 2) Interpreting and applying Financial policies and procedures such as the Department of Defense Acquisition procedures or Program Objective Memorandum (POM) procedures; and 3) Analyzing Army financial management systems, such as the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) to prevent program funding deficiencies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03 or GS-14).
Education
