This position is located in the Service Center Operations Directorate, Center Operations and Records Division (CORD).
As an Supervisory Immigration Services Analyst, you will manage personnel that will be responsible for analyzing and resolving problems, assessing the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of program operations.
Duties
Directs a staff of Supervisory Immigration Services Analysts responsible for performing operational planning, management, and analysis work. Sets short and long- term priorities and workload for assigned Supervisors, Analysts, and staff.
Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of data program operations reviewing outcomes such as cost effectiveness, attainment of program goals and objectives, and compliance with pertinent legal and regulatory guidelines.
Coordinates with supervisors and peers to establish organizational objectives, goals, priorities and deadlines; implements plans to address dynamic workloads; cooperates with Center and SCOPS management to resolve matters across organizational lines.
Responsible for data analyses and systems development in the Center’s jurisdiction. Analyzes operations regarding program elements such as production, quality, and service to the public. Makes final decisions and commits to courses of action.
Develop detailed plans for implementation and oversee implementation of the goals; determine if adjustments or changes in objectives or emphasis are needed in organizational functions; and resolve matters that cross organizational lines.
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/12/2024.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 02/12/2024.

GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Providing technical and administrative supervision to a staff of analysts engaged in programs administering the data analysis, IT systems, and/or quality assurance functions.
Coordinating and directing the accomplishment of complex program and management issues.
Analyzing records, managing information, and/or database management.
Overseeing mid to long-range work plans, determining the actions necessary to accomplish the objectives, and monitoring status to completion.
