DCSA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is seeking an Information Technology Specialist, Data Manager. Incumbent serves as Data Architect and Solution Manager, and provides technical advice to the agency for artificial intelligence (Ai)/machine learning (ML)/natural language processing (NLP) in support of DCSA stakeholder missions using established standards to include Agile and Rapid Prototyping methodologies.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Specialized experience for this position includes: demonstrated experience performing work involving identification and incorporation of new concepts and ideas for data architecture governance in achieving missions and goals, technological trends, and significant advancements in operational and mission data management; demonstrated experience developing policy IAW higher level guidance to evaluate OCIO initiatives either proposed or ongoing within the Enterprise to ensure they meet existing standards and requirements and have the appropriate level of approval and certification required based on the amount of funds required to develop, deploy, and sustain the initiatives; Serves as the subject matter consultant related to the availability and maturity of technology for use in data management cloud-constructs that enable more efficient, effective, data management and secure use of data sharing and Ai/ML/NLP enabled applications.
