The position reports to the Senior International Advisor (AEE-5) in the Office of Policy, International Affairs, and Environment, APL; Office of Environment and Energy (AEE); Senior International Team, AEE-5. The incumbent is an Environmental Protection Specialist. Provides technical and policy support for FAA's efforts to reduce aviation's environmental impact and meet FAA environmental goals on noise, emissions, and climate both domestically and internationally.
Duties
Performs a mixture of routine and multiple and varying assignments and plans the implementation of projects/programs under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team. May perform some leadership functions for small projects/programs/teams. Provides support on the development of agency-wide policy related to international environmental matters.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-G, FG/GS-10/11 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
