You will serve as an Administrative Management Specialist in the Training and Exercises Directorate of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.90% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.
This is an obligated position. The former incumbent has return rights to this position under PL 86-585.
Duties
You will serve as administrative advisor to the Deputy Director and Director for all administrative and personnel management functions.
You will participate in planning and management studies necessitated by program and organization changes.
You will coordinate with civilian personnel staff, as appropriate, on all personnel actions including recruitments, resignations, performance appraisals, classification standards, pay status, and awards.
You will develop and execute strategic plans for maximizing reserve force utilization and readiness.
You will manage the Director and Deputy Director's daily and long-range calendar of appointments, conferences, and meetings, apportioning time based on knowledge of their commitments.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing administrative analysis and technical and management duties. Examples of specialized experience include most or all of the following: 1) Serving as a point of contact on administrative policies, procedures, and requirements. 2) Compiling instructions for major administrative and policy matters and recommending courses of action. 3) Advising employees and supervisors on a variety of procedural and policy matters, pertaining to human resources policies and procedures. 4) Performing executive assistant support and duties for senior leaders. 5) Providing guidance to junior level personnel.
