About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Transportation Division, Rock Island Arsenal, IL
Duties
Execute and manage the full range of NTV Fleet Management for GSA leased and Army Owned vehicles.
Screen trip itineraries to verify compliance with Defense Region (DTA4) contract, Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
Reconcile organizations Centrally Billed Account with submission to applicable DFAS for payment.
Perform Government Passports Acceptance Agent duties to accepts Passport/VISA applications and administer oaths.
Administer all functions of the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Program.
Responsible for the Acquisition and disposal of NTV Fleet Vehicles, through the annual customer acquisition module.
Perform the duties of the Government Purchase CardHolder (GPC) for the transportation division.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier3 Secret Security Clearance.
- Temporary duty travel of 25% may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver's license.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled such as: Analyze/interpret technical transportation requirements to perform a variety of assignments; monitor transportation functions to resolve problems; perform Government Passport Acceptance Agent duties to accept passport/VISA applications; process charge card applications to determine eligibility of the travel charge card programs; brief stakeholders regarding the implementation and status of the Travel Charge Card Program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Successful completion of at least a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree from an accredited college or university. Major study in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position. (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.).

Combination of Education and Experience: If you have some, but not all, of the experience or education described above, you may still qualify by combining the amount of creditable experience and education that you possess. To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education in excess of 18 hours (total semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
