About the Position: This position is located with the Army Sustainment Command, 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Rock Island IL. This position may be filled by a temporary promotion, temporary reassignment, temporary change to lower grade or detail not to exceed 13 months. This is an obligated position.

Duties

Perform inspections of services and warehouse facilities of household goods carriers. Plan, direct, coordinate, manage, and review all actions involved with Installation Transportation Logistics. Classify, route, and rate domestic and export shipments of hazardous and general supplies and equipment. Manage various Army Government Travel Credit Card accounts.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Background Investigation.
• Incumbent must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
• Temporary duty travel up to 25% may be required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Successful completion of at least a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree from an accredited college or university. Major study in accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: If you have some, but not all, of the experience or education described above, you may still qualify by combining the amount of creditable experience and education that you possess. To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education in excess of 18 hours (total semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify.
