This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation for r Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: The pay band NH-02 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-5 to 11.
Duties
Providing information to employees and supervisors related to assigned programs.
Perform a variety of tasks involving the analysis and studies of management practices, methods, and procedures.
Utilize databases, software applications and other tools to provide data to improve the effectiveness of work methods, processes and procedures, and manpower utilization within the directorate.
Build programs and production order numbers for various logistical projects within the system of record, utilizing various automated transactions.

- This position may require temporary duty (TDY) business travel up to 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the NH-01 grade level, which includes analyzing problems, gather pertinent data, and recognizing solutions; planning and organizing work schedules; communicating effectively (orally and in writing) to requests visitor passes through an automated system and arranges for transportation and lodging; utilizing office automation systems to input and prepare data for various reports; research various regulations to compose correspondence and documents; coordinates and schedule appointments or meetings and creating briefing charts utilizing presentation software. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01).

Education: Four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.
