This position is in the Cash Management Department of a Florida Caribbean Consolidated Patient Account Center (FCCPAC), serving as the Mail and File Clerk at 2500 S. Lakemont Ave, in Orlando, Florida.

Duties

***THIS IS NOT A VIRTUAL POSITION, YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN OR BE WILLING TO RELOCATE WITHIN A COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF THE DUTY LOCATION*** Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Reviews incoming miscellaneous materials such as mail, publications, directives, etc., and presorts these into action and/or information categories; Routes non-controlled materials and prepares control and routing sheets for correspondence or other materials; Maintains suspense files for replies and follow up on over-due items; Performs administrative and/or clerical tasks in support of various office functions such as establishing and maintaining office files, collating documents, preparing folders, etc.; Processes incoming and/or outgoing mail, including the processing of express mail; Performs general mail handling and distribution including sorting, opening, date stamping, classifying, processing, and routing mail; Performs other related duties as assigned. The Selective Placement Factor for this position is: LICENSE REQUIREMENT: A current, valid state issued driver's license is required for this position. NOTE: We cannot accept photographs, therefore; please do not submit a copy of your license with your application package. If an interview is requested, you will be required to provide a copy of your current, valid state issued driver's license. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: GS04 You must have one (1) year of general experience, that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to successfully perform the duties of this position? General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment. ~OR~ EDUCATION: Have successfully completed two (2) years of education above the high school level in any field? This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. One year of full-time undergraduate study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial or technical school. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED) ~OR~ COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Do you possess equivalent combinations of successfully completed post high school education and general experience, as described above, may be used to meet total qualification requirements at the GS-04 level. If education is used to meet general experience requirements, then such education must include courses directly related to the work of the position and must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Work is performed primarily while sitting, work requires long periods of standing, walking, or bending or requires recurring lifting of materials of moderate weight (under 50 pounds). The work has no unusual physical requirements present. The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effect may be required.
