You will serve as an Acquisition Manager in the Cybersecure Hull Mechanical and Electrical Control Systems and Networks Department of (NSWC PHILA DIV) Department 50.
Duties
You will formulate overall programmatic and organizational strategies to meet the current and future Navy goals.
You will be responsible for contractual risk management strategy.
You will defend proposals of new methods and procedures to high level management and higher echelons.
You will apply specific naval acquisition requirements and needs to the Division's acquisition programs.
You will solve complex problems involved in implementing the program.
You will formulate, develop, and manage the Division's acquisition plan for ships and ship systems in support of achieving programmatic objectives and complex technology and system integration within the Department/Division's technical areas.
You will provide contracting direction, managing contract support and availability.
You will be the final authority in the specialized area of system engineering for acquisition and represents the Division/Department at all levels.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and executing acquisition contract strategies or requirements by collaborating with other stakeholders to support and maintain a department.
