Duties

You will serve as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead/Project Lead (PL) in the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic IPT/Competency Aligned Organization (CAO) You will lead and manage IT projects to provide a unique service or product and will be responsible for ensuring the work efforts achieve the outcome of the sponsor's mission. You will manage, lead, administer, develop, deliver, and support information systems and services for NIWC customers. You will manage requirements identification and analysis development of information systems to include testing strategies, plans, and/or scenarios for customers’ information systems, environments, and/or infrastructure for the IPT's programs/projects You will manage stakeholder requirements from internal/external agencies which may include highly unstructured settings to justify, defend, negotiate, or settle matters or issues

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• Current federal employees applying for this position will be required to submit most current non-award SF 50.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition, your resume must demonstrate one year of Specialized Experience. NO-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading, managing, and reporting on moderately complex projects through the development of various departmental plans and strategies; AND evaluating, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, policies, standards, OR procedures. NO-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting withmanaging and reporting on moderately complex projects through the development of various departmental plans and strategies; AND assisting with evaluating, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, policies, standards, OR procedures.
