Duties
This position is located in the
U.S. Capitol Police (USCP), Office of the Assistant Chief for Protective and Intelligence Operations, Security Services Bureau (SSB), Physical Security Division (PSD), System Operations Section (SOS).
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.To qualify at the CP-10 grade level, you must have at least 52
weeks of specialized experience that is equivalent to the CP-09/GS-11 grade
level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be
filled. To qualify at the CP-11 grade level, you must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience that is equivalent to the CP-10/GS-12 grade level that is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience must have demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such specialized experience is defined as:(1) Comprehensive knowledge of, and familiarity with,
procedures and regulations related to the principles for designing and
advancing physical security systems and practices as they relate to computer vision,
object recognition, and machine learning techniques for video artificial
intelligence and computer-based technology. (2) Strong leadership ability to coordinate with all
operating elements as it pertains to video analytics and artificial
intelligence security program issues and functions. (3) Skill in identifying and analyzing security gaps,
developing and implementing mitigation measures, and adapting solutions to
address evolving security threats. (4) Skill in developing, defining, and establishing
parameters to retrieve information from video analytic and artificial
