About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM); the Army's materiel integrator for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) readiness; supporting our Soldiers' ability to protect our Nation and way of life.
Duties
Responsible for defining requirements and planning the implementation of automated logistics systems.
Responsible for a variety of supply and logistics management duties as they relate to overall management of the Army's wholesale logistics supply program.
Plans, develops, coordinates, and conducts analysis of systems, procedures, methods, and practices pertaining to the data processing system programs.
Develops, coordinates, and delivers ERP systems execution training on new and existing supply chain functions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) required 25% of the time
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
Qualifications
This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-12 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-13 grade step 05 in the broadband. This position is covered by control points to account for variances in position responsibilities within the broadband. This non-supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-13, step 05 base salary, or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-13 step 10 level the incumbent's salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbents existing salary. The Control Point for this position NH-03 is $99,200 to $133,692 including locality at the rate of 32.49%.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Utilizing, such as, Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) to support various supply chain or cataloging analyses; 2) Implements innovative approaches to resolve unusual/difficult issues significantly impacting important policies or programs; 3) Independently creating, reviewing, analyzing and updating logistics and supply policies; AND 4) Developing and maintaining automated systems with the and Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11 / NH-2).
