The Deputy Assistant Inspector General (AIG) for Information Technology functions as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the OIG and is primarily responsible for managing worldwide information technology (IT) support, systems development, and integration, acting in a lead representational role with numerous intra- and inter-agency IT organizations, and strategic planning for all OIG IT requirements.
Duties
Plans, directs, controls, and supervises IT, data analysis, and other program staff. Assists the IG, DIG, AIGs, and OIG Senior Leadership in setting the overall vision and roadmap for IT and data analysis capabilities to ensure OIG priorities and forecasted needs are supported and delivered.
Oversees the planning and execution of these activities to ensure goals and objectives are achieved in an effective and timely manner and that customer expectations are met. Responsible for OIG-wide IT policy development, budgeting and procurement, and data analysis-related matters.

Demonstrated leadership experience in the successful management and oversight of a diverse portfolio of technology programs and operations critical to the mission of a Federal agency (or similar organization) with domestic and international locations. Must include 3 or more of the following: architecture, technology roadmaps, change management, data strategy and data management, digital records management, operations (including field functions), and cybersecurity.
2. Demonstrated leadership and results from utilizing multi-year planning, strategic thinking, process re-engineering, organizational streamlining, and partnering with non-technology leaders to improve operations and customer service.
