Duties
As a Program Analyst at the NH-0343-3 broadband level some of your typical work assignments may include:
Assist in planning and executing Missile Defense Agency (MDA) ground tests
Provide input for the MDA Integrated Master Test Plan (IMTP)
Support development of data requirements, collection, analysis, and archival
Support planning and execution efforts in ground test Concept of Operations CONOPs milestone reviews
Analyze and report results of tests to a senior engineer or analyst
Requirements
- Employee is required to obtain a Practitioner level certification in Test and Evaluation. Incumbent must obtain mandatory Back to Basics (B2B) certification within 60 months of entry into position.
- Incumbent must acquire 80 Continuous Learning Points every 24 months.
- Must be a US citizen
- Male born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service

- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period

Qualifications
You may qualify at the NH-03 broadband level if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of Specialized Experience (SE) equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. SE statements will allow for applicants to meet at least two of the SE criteria rather than all inclusive.
Supporting a Missile Defense System (MDS) Test Program or equivalent to include test policy, plans, and controls, manpower and personnel, business and financial management, cost estimation, and/or contracts and acquisition.
Advising in the management and execution of missile defense Element and/or missile defense system Tests.
Assisting in identifying, advising on, and developing appropriate missile defense test strategies.
Analyzing the management and execution of missile defense element and/or missile defense system tests, processes, policies, and procedures.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
