You will serve as a Supervisory Management Analyst in the Military Manpower Management Branch (Code 1121), Manpower Division (Code 1120) Corporate Operations Department (Code 1100), of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.

Duties

You will recommend and assist with the allocation of military manpower resources; document and review personnel and distribution changes; implement, and manage all military personnel Manpower and reporting procedures. You will supervise, direct, and provide technical guidance and managerial oversight to carry out assignments, providing on the job training in accordance with established procedures and practices. You will research, gather, analyze and interpret data, develop various charts, reports and tracking systems to monitor manpower efforts for the Commanding Officer, Executive staff, Position Management Board, and Department Heads and SWRMC Managers. You will coordinate manpower program issues with Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC) in order to effectively manage manpower requirements. You will analyze and discuss technical and operating staffing, resourcing requirements and operations with management. You will develop internal military personnel business policies for all aspects of manpower/manning personnel administration and management. You will develop internal military personnel administrative policies and procedures to initiate changes required by the changes in program operations and to promote greater efficiency. You will provide advice, guidance and assistance to programs in the uniform interpretation of directives and guidelines regarding the Navy' s Military Manpower program. You will be responsible for the administration of end strength controls, coordinate command staffing issues, monitor work-year execution against controls, and is a point of contact/responsible for all Military Manpower related data calls. You will perform special studies and conduct research to facilitate the implementation and efficient operations of programs dealing with a variety of work process and functions. You will review and analyze Command mission area analysis documentation, manpower analysis papers (MAP) and comment on material requirements documents that require force structure data.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating military manpower requirements for an organization to identify and advise on workforce planning issues and develop recommendations to ensure efficient personnel utilization and program operations.
