Duties
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
You will perform within a complex and high-tempo operational and management environment addressing problems that dynamically evolve due to rapid fluctuation in various program priorities and requirements.
You will execute all actions required to protect, monitor, analyze, detect, react, and restore from unauthorized activity within computer networks.
You will apply Joint doctrine and publications, including Planning Orders (PLANORDS), Execution Orders (EXORDS), Operation Plans (OPLANs), Concept of Operation Plans (CONPLANs), Campaign Plans, Theater Strategy, and cooperative security agreements.
You will develop plans using all phases of the Joint Planning Process and Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) activities and conduct capability assessments i.e., force readiness projections, risks/vulnerabilities, technological defensibility, etc.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You must successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 901/332 within 12 months of appointment.
Qualifications
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
*Experience supervising/providing leadership to a diverse group of cyber professionals (military and civilians).
*Experience coordinating and executing all levels of planning (strategic, operational, and crisis/contingency) across the full spectrum of cyberspace operations.
*Experience performing cyberspace operations planning, executing, and participating in major/combatant command exercises or operations.
*Experience briefing senior leaders on short and long-range planning goals and objectives.
