You will serve as a COMMAND PAY AND PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATOR in the SURFACE WARFARE ENGINEERING SCHOOL COMMAND of SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL.

Duties

You will assist staff with questions and issues related to administrative functions. You will maintain filing systems (e.g., telephone and circuit records, forms, databases) according to established procedures. You will answer nontechnical requests for information which can be provided based on information from records and files or personal knowledge of the organization. You will assist with interpreting personnel management procedures and administrative policy, and makes recommendations regarding areas that do not comply with regulatory requirements.

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Processes all student check-in procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures; 2) Using databases to input and retrieve information; 3) Drafts and prepares documents using automated systems; and 4) Performs training coordination and tracking. In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience
