You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the Training Command (TRNGCMD) of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will develop and produce all required curriculum materials as assigned or required from the analysis and design of the courses.
You will ensure employees assigned to the directorate are adequately trained to meet mission requirements.
You will coordinate annually with applicable program managers to validate and prioritize training requirements.
You will recommend and submit timely coordinated solutions to validated Civil- Affairs related training and education requirements, and to identify, track, and recommend training and education requirements.
You will conduct platform instruction, demonstration, practical application, and performance evaluation.
You will review all course materials to include the Risk Analysis Worksheet (RAW) for each training event and ensure all personnel are briefed on the risk factors, safety controls, cease training criteria, and cease training procedures.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing and developing training requirements, developing curriculum, and learning materials, conducting training analysis, planning, organizing, budgeting and ensure an efficient and effective learning program that adheres with Marine Corps policies and standards.
