About the Position: Serves as the Senior Analyst/Action Officer and subject matter expert for assigned mission areas, focusing and identifying impacts, challenges and solutions for the organization. Applies a general knowledge of weapon system acquisition and weapon life cycle management to assigned efforts.

Duties

Focus and identify impacts, challenges, and solutions for CECOM and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) equities Conduct comprehensive, complex analyses where the boundaries are extremely broad and difficult to determine in advance Consolidate findings and recommendations into minutes, Executive Summaries (EXSUM), Situational Reports (SITREP), and/or final reports Provide management with new information and present various alternative courses of action in resolving complex problems

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) required 25% of the time.
  • Must serve a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • Must pass drug test screening prior to hiring and will be subject to periodic and random drug testing, thereafter, in accordance with AR 600-85.
