The position is responsible for general maintenance and repair requirements as established by the Maintenance Supervisor or Chief of Engineering for the Central Iowa Health Care System in Des Moines, Iowa.

Duties

Major duties listed but not limited to: Performing various tasks pertaining to voltage systems ranging from 10V to 13200V AC and DC. Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing of various electrical equipment and systems. Performs basic electrical work independently. Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing of various plumbing equipment and systems including steam. Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing of various HVAC equipment and systems.
