About the Position: This position is located with the 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Fort Belvoir, VA.
This is an Obligated Position and a Term Not to Exceed 13 Months Appointment.
Duties
Serve as Chief of Supply and Services Division at the Logistics Readiness Center (LRC).
Exercise personnel management functions.
Responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating programs for Central Issue Facility (CIF) StoreFront, Property Book Office, and Installation Supply Support Activity (SSA) in support of garrison operations.
Plan, direct, control, and coordinate the work of supply and services functions and operations.
Apply detailed working knowledge of accountability, requisitioning, issuing, receiving, reporting, excess inventory, inventory adjustment, storage, warehousing and transportation.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (Secret) clearance.
- This position may require the incumbent to travel TDY) up to 25% of the time
- This position is designated as a "Key” position. This position shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impacting the organization to function effectively.
- This position is designated as Mission Essential.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes (1) analyzing and implementing supply management operations in the areas of inventory management, storage management, supply data systems, and Government Purchase Card (GPC); (2) developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); and (3) determining improvement processes to supply methods and procedures.
