You will serve as a Management and Program Analysis Officer in the INTERNATIONAL ISSUES BRANCH of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will assist the Branch Head with development and provide advice and recommendations for the establishment of new Marine Corps policies associated with political -military matters and related staff efforts. You will coordinate the development and promulgation of the annual Marine Corps International Relations Plan, and oversee the planning and execution of Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC)-directed counterpart conferences. You will coordinate the personnel manning of the International Issues Branch with officers and individual with appropriate Foreign Area Officer/Regional Area Officer qualifications and experience. You will supervise the development of the annual International Issues Branch Budget.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: possess strong leadership, management, and communication skills to facilitate the effective and efficient operation of the International Affairs Branch, a multi-disciplinary team of 25 uniformed, government civilian, and contractor personnel. Must be capable of operating common computer applications, including Microsoft Office, and of leading Plans Division participation in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
