About the Position: Serves as HQDA level Promotion Policy Integrator and Special Actions Program Manager within Evaluations, Promotions, and Selections Division; The Adjutant General Directorate; US Army Human Resources Command (HRC). Provides specialized knowledge and expertise of military promotions and of suspension of favorable personnel actions (FLAG) practices and programs in support of the Army's personnel management and mission requirements.
Duties

Knowledge of laws, legal codes, Government regulations, Executive Orders, Agency Rules.
Works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job.
Plans, distribute, coordinates, and monitors work assignments of others.
Anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external customers. Delivers high-quality products and services; is committed to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent subject to a One-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position requires a one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station (25%) of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized Experience Required: Specialized experience is defined as one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes work that involves: Interpreting laws, regulations, procedures, policies, and directives pertaining to special selections boards. Receiving, monitoring, and reviewing all Promotion Review Board cases. Working with senior leaders, congressional representatives, and review boards to discuss promotion eligibility for mandatory and special selection/advisory boards. Performing all administrative functions in support of the special selection board team.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Education
Some Federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for required experience in order to qualify. For this position, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone. Substitution of education for experience is NOT permitted.
