You will serve as a MANAGER in the BUISNESS FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (BFM) DIVISION of NAVAL INFORMATION WARFARE SYSTEMS COMMAND.

Duties

You will manage and supervise both senior supervisory and subordinate personnel across the SYSCOM and supported PEOs in performance of their assigned BFM duties. You will oversee of the Business Analytics office and operation of the Navy ERP superuser helpdesk. You will oversee and support acquisition programs regarding all Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities within the BSO/PEO ensuring budget justification, spend plan and execution are aligned and effective. You will oversees Enterprise BFM contracting, tasking, technical direction and improvements for assigned contractors and contract strategies.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position requires a Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal or private sector in: Overseeing a Business Analytics office; providing oversight and leadership in ensuring common financial processes and tools are implemented across BFM community; AND managing and supervising both senior supervisory and subordinate personnel across the SYSCOM and supported PEOs in performance of their assigned BFM duties.
