About the Position: Serve as the Executive Officer to the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, Army. This position is located in Arlington, VA.
Duties
Oversee control of the Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff (ADCS), G-1 calendar, as well as G-1's calendar.
Direct taskings to the staff from the ADCS, G-1.
Coordinate all mission responsibilities with the Office of the Director of the Army Staff, Executive Communications and Control.
Direct the initiation of planning as determined necessary for successful operation of the Army, G-1.
Develop the schedule for the G-1 General Officers/SES tasked with representing the Senior Leaders of the Department of the Army in a dignified honors and repatriation of remains at Dover AFB.
Plan for short- and long-term operations for the Army, G-1.
Execute all logistical/IT requirements and translation services when required.
Direct staff and subordinate elements to take necessary corrective steps.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
- This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
- You may be expected to travel up to 5% for this position.
- One year trial period may be required.
