Duties

In this position you will serve as an analyst to management, performing basic administrative processes and creating various work products. This position starts at a salary of $86,962.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $113,047.00 (GS-12, Step 10) with promotion potential to $113,047 (GS-12 Step 10). Major duties for this position include but are not limited to: Analyzing, and evaluating program data business processes, and internal controls to identify impediments and increase efficiencies for TRA administrative programs. Recommending clear, well-defined business processes to optimize productivity and promote effectiveness. Assisting in implementing coordinating and overseeing a variety of program activities impacting mission readiness. Monitoring the accountability of workforce management and budget and providing guidance to personnel to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of operations within the organization. Tracking workforce management budgets, cost projections, and usage analysis utilizing various programs to provide management current data, ensuring compliance with new and revised directives policies, and standard operating procedures. Planning, developing, and assisting with planning management through briefings, presentations, and conferences ensuring accurate and appropriately concise and timely information is available to management. Experience: You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Conducting studies, analyzing findings, and making recommendations on operating programs. Assisting in implementing, coordinating, and overseeing a variety of program activities. Developing guidance on management evaluation techniques. Developing manuals, and directives covering the administrative aspects of field operations.
