Duties
As a Supervisory Program Analyst, you will:
Provide support to ensure effective and timely coordination and implementation of all reports/actions necessary to improve FHEO management planning and/or response to audit activities pursuant to established deadlines, including: Management Plan; Annual Performance Plan, Performance Accountability Report; Government Performance Results Report (GPRA) Performance Accountability Report; and GAO.
Supervise a staff and managing other resources to achieve maximum efficiency and balance in utilizing the resources assigned.
Direct the development of standards, regulations, guidelines, and handbooks related to the implementation of civil rights related program requirements and the Department's affirmative civil rights and equal opportunity obligations
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Providing multidisciplinary solutions to civil rights, housing, and community revitalization issues; AND
Independently analyzing and developing program policies and strategic plans and formulating recommendations to meet organizational and mission-oriented goals; AND
Effectively negotiating with management and high ranking officials to gain acceptance and implementation of policy or programmatic recommendations.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
