This position is part of the Office of Management, Department of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will be responsible for determining new contracting methods for the various information technology contracts implemented with the office; serving as the program team lead; and analyzing directives, Executive Orders, rules, and regulations.

- This position is included in a Bargaining Unit.
- Occasional travel is required for this position.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized at or equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Analyzing laws, regulations, external and internal policies, and processes to make recommendations.
Developing goals, objectives, and plans; ensuring they comply with operating policies and priorities; and
Assists negotiations within organizations/offices to resolve conflicts during the policy or directive's development process.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
