Duties

Serve as Operations Supervisor of the Instrumentation Training Analysis Computer Simulations and Support (ITACSS). Responsible for the coordination and operational planning activities of Training Analysis and Feedback (TAF) cells. Perform all operational and planning related administrative functions, maintains records and prepares all related production and other reports using available data from records, printouts, and computer based data files. Direct the work assigned to the Operations Section of the Instrumentation Training Analysis Computer Simulations and Support (ITACSS), Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC). Knowledge of exercise design and architecture to include simulations and mission command networks.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a "Secret" security clearance for the duration of employment.
  • Subject to deployment (TDY up 50% of the time) under field conditions to support rotational training exercises as part of a deployable training support package.
  • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.
  • This position has a requirement to lift up to 25 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
