Duties
Perform long-range planning for the delivery of network services throughout the region by developing project Plans of Action and Milestone, time lines, budgetary requirement, system/network resources usage policies and procedures.
Develop planning documentation to translate approve communications requirements into funded programs and projects and review requests for communication services to develop detailed plans.
Provide direction, guidance, and develop policy for local telecommunication network and system operating units, centers, or network control facilities.
Analyze trends in the nature and level of demands for services and balance user requests against available capabilities and costs along with determining the feasibility of meeting additional requirements within existing capabilities.
Evaluate the levels and quality of operations and take corrective actions to resolve problems such as excessive failures or delays, or high operating costs.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing statements of work for the network and data center, resource management, and creating command policies and procedures. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
