About the Position: This position is located at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Duties

Responsible for oversight of the Medical Expense Performance Reporting System (MEPRS) to ensure policy compliance. Analyze statistical collections and financial reports to determine accuracy of data and cost distribution. Develop and produce a variety of reports such as productivity of clinics and providers, expense analysis of work centers, monthly workload. Manage organizational information that encompass manpower, workload, and financial resource and expenditure systems supporting unit services. Provide training regarding workload, financial and man hours reporting to subordinate MEPRS analysts and leaders.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes assisting with the management of medical expense information within the organization; utilizing electronic data to identify potential discrepancies in automated programs; preparing detailed data for analysis of medical expense reporting. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Management, Business, Organizational Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: AccountabilityOral CommunicationProblem SolvingTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
