Duties
You will serve as the main point of contact between Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Public Works departments (NAVFAC, PWDs) and the Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (NAVSUP FLC).
You will extract data from databases to support conclusions or recommendations.
You will analyze program or project issues to determine solutions to meet objectives within established timelines or financial constraints.
You will write reports to provide status updates.
You will advise management on equipment inventory procedures.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Local travel within the Hampton Roads area is required approximately 20% of the time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis and evaluations of material and material handling; 2) Analyzing historical cost data and material demands to project the expansion or reduction of on-the shelf material, as well as the impact to the design; 3) Evaluating program compliance with existing regulations, policy, guidelines, procedures and sound business practices; 4) Forecasting and facilitating of inventory to keep up with demand, special projects, and preventative maintenance projects; 5) Maintaining communication and feedback to mechanics on status of material requests; 5) Applying knowledge of MAXIMO's principles and functionality; and 6)interpreting MAXIMO reports to track key elements on the Navy Working Capital Fund Expenditures.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
