About the Position: Position is located at the US Army Human Resources Command, Enlisted Personnel Management Directorate, Fort Knox, KY 40122. You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist in the Force Shaping Directorate (FSD), under the general direction of the Talent- Based Career Alignment (TBCA) Program Manager.
Duties
Coordinate, builds and maintains relationships with organizations outside organization.
Guide outside organizations in marketing, selection, and maintaining contact with candidates.
Ensure each external organization properly resources for arrival on the officer's timeline.
Describe fully to outside agencies their required actions to select, track, and accept officers 2-4 years later.
Ensure the Talent -Based Career Alignment (TBCA) program executes in coordination with other elements of personnel management.
Ensure program requirements are clearly understood and supportable in organization and participating programs.
Provide persistent visibility of program operations to leaders inside organization.
Maintain consistent contact with Career Managers to track participants.
Serve as organization's subject matter expert for the organizations, opportunities and programs of TBCA) program.
Confirm candidate eligibility criteria and specific requirements by program.
Ensure organization's website and any program communication are accurate and timely.
Confirm regularly availability of future options for the program.
Research, analyze, and provide recommended changes to regulation, policy, and procedures.
Participate in working groups about officer management with internal and external agencies.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized experience is defined as: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS11 grade level in the Federal service which includes work that involves experience liaising with all levels of internal and external organizational leaders to include but not be limited to Assignment and Branch offices, Resource Management Office, Budget/financial Analysts, representatives of schools and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
