You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST of SURFACE WARFARE OFFICERS SCHOOL.
Duties
You will serve as Curriculum Manager and Learning Standards Officer within the Maritime Warfighting Directorate.
You will provide training management support.
You will lead, coordinate, and/or participate in improving courses, student learning experience, and staff development.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Supporting various facets of instructional systems analysis, design and development, including other complex issues/areas that are related to the Maritime Warfare curriculum technology, design, and maintenance;2) Developing curriculum according to Navy Standards in the areas within the Department Head training continuum; 3) Providing continuous high-level, trusted advice and technical assistance regarding curriculum analysis, design, development, implementation, instruction, and assessment in Maritime Warfare courses of instruction; 4)Analyzing courses of instruction and course reviews compiled from student critiques, instructor evaluations and command monitors to provide valuable feedback and recommendations to supervisors; 5) Working independently or in concert with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to develop course material (task analysis, learning objectives, course master schedules, lessons, instructional aids, training plans, test banks, etc.).

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
Successful completion of a 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
Possession of a LL.M., if related
or
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience
