You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the INTERNATIONAL TRAINING DIVISION of NAVSCSCOL.
Duties
You will establish and maintain contacts, both within and outside of the organization, to coordinate curriculum related activities or provide authoritative guidance.
You will evaluate training program audits to determine how to meet organizational objectives.
You will coordinate with personnel for timely submission of training needs for the command.
You will review military training instructions and reports for adequacy and accuracy.
You will develop training and assessment program solutions based upon an organizations long or short term goals.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Position requires DoD Security Cooperation Workforce Certification. Area of Consideration (AoC) and Level are designated as SC Execution Support Management-SC442 (Intermediate).
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluates internal workflow processes and procedures to ensure the overall training program objectives are within compliance with guidelines and directives; 2) Conducts and develops training courses to support organizational requirements (i.e. schedules, student activities, training request, course testing) for a training program; 3) Prepares and delivers briefings to leadership on the status of educational instruction and training related matters; and 4) Utilizes resource management guidelines to analyze, manage, document, and/or recommend financial related matters to organizational leaders; 5) Experience with education and training policies and programs.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Education or a subject area related to the position to be filled.
OR
Possession of an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
