You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT, VLS TEST EQUIPMENT BRANCH of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA.
Duties
You will serve as the Test Equipment Mission Support and Production Team Lead for Code E55.
You will provide planning and technical project direction to branch personnel.
You will oversee requirements planning and integrations for VLS Test Equipment.
You will develop supporting data and provide comprehensive test equipment planning information, recommendations, and alternatives.
You will ensure timely delivery of coherent logistics support packages.
You will serve as single Point of Contact (POC) for VLS Test Equipment in support of US Navy and allied nation requirements.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical project direction for the planning and integration of Launching Systems and Launcher Test Equipment (e.g. MK 680 CMTS, MK 683 Missile Simulator, Module production Automatic Test Equipment) for an organization.
