About the Position: Incumbent serves as a Management Analyst and senior specialist on matters pertaining to the activity's workforce management, positions and organization structure. Manages civilian manpower strength and baselines aligned with civilian pay program.
Duties
Serves as a Management Analyst on matters pertaining to the activity’s workforce management, positions and organization structure.
Performs a wide range of technical, analytical, and administrative duties in the formulation of the management portion of the budget.
Analyzes changes in manpower and resources provided by higher headquarters and provides recommendations for the distribution of resources.
Prepares manpower projections and validates authorizations against planned usage.
Reviews requirements and authorization documents submitted by subordinate units to ensure accuracy, adaptability, compliance and quality control.
Provides direct administrative and procedural support by organizing, collecting, analyzing, and presenting information related to the current and future reimbursable agreements workload.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
