You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Risk Management (RM) Division of BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY.
Duties
You will lead small groups or participate as a group member to accomplish task projects to solve problem.
You will maintain and update JAGMAN tracking databases for all cases received.
You will review and analyze each JAGMAN investigation to validate the information.
You provide support to the credential and risk management program leader
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS- 09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized Experience. Examples of Qualifying Experience:
- Experience in the effectiveness of training in accordance with approved course curriculum for the NECC ratings inclusive of the initial training assessment of training impacts for Sailor performance;
- Experience leading small teams in accomplishing task oriented projects solving problems and identifying and addressing issues and tracking timelines for date sensitive projects.
- Experience communicating with military and civilian reviewers and department heads in writing and on the phone to obtain needed information and documents for medical investigation analysis.
- Experience tracking all projects to completion, prioritizing medical malpractice cases to meet established timelines.
- Experience with database management, completing entries and running reports from the med mal databases ; experience using the DoD CCQAS risk management or credentials module a plus.
- Experience with the identification, analysis and plan for problem solving to include obtaining staff and supervisor input to remove barriers to success .
- Experience as a clinical risk manager or a medical staff credentials coordinator a plus.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
Successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
