You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEMS ANALYST in the LOGISTICS DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.

Duties

You will perform specific, independent, analytical assignments in support of projects and studies normally led by higher-level employees. You will determine funding and staffing requirements for installation supply programs. You will ensure technology and priorities are coordinated, documented and in compliance with Department of Defense and marine Corps standards. You will represent the organization at meetings and surfaces potential problem areas and specific incidents of noncompliance to higher-level officials. You will review and analyze information from automated systems to determine overall supply effectiveness and evaluate cost effectiveness of recommended system changes and problem solutions.

Requirements

  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing information from automated supply systems to determine overall effectiveness, evaluates cost of system changes, and troubleshoots supply system problems; AND experience using automated supply systems to process transactions to execute quality supply management/stock control support (e.g. Supported Activities Supply System (SASSY), Asset Tracking Logistics Supply System (ATLASS), and Integrated Maintenance Management System (IMMS)). Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

GS-11:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
or
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
or
Successful completion of a LL.M degree that is related to the position being filled.
or
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
