As a Program Analyst, you will provide in-depth analyses in the evaluation of GSA programs by planning, directing, and exercising control over a variety of projects.Location of position: Office of Acquisition, National Capital Region (NCR), Public Building Service (PBS), General Services Administration (GSA)We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

Duties

Apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to assess and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of assigned programs, processes, projects and systems. Analyze and develop data to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operating programs. Review specific goals and objectives; evaluate program accomplishments and significant contributions. Provide input and recommendations regarding projected operations, significant trends, recurring problems and similar management level concerns. Perform studies to evaluate and identify a variety of operational problems, solutions and to recommend courses of action. Prepare and/or conduct briefings for higher level management providing subject matter analyses,  guidance and/or direction for implementation.

  • Meet all eligibility requirements within 30 days of the closing date.

Qualification determinations cannot be made when resumes do not include the required information, so failure to provide this information may result in disqualification.For a brief video on creating a Federal resume, click here. The GS-12salary range starts at $99,200 per year.If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.  To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service applying qualitative and quantitative techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations.
